Registering for ÖSD Diploma examinations
The deadline for registrations is 22 days prior to the date of the examination.
ÖSD examination fee
The examination fee for the Austrian Language Diploma ÖSD is due on registration.
Cancelling the ÖSD examination
Cancellations are possible only in writing by email or post.
Cancellation deadlines and fees are as follows – the date the email was received or the postmark applies.

The examination fee will not be charged if you do not appear for the examination.
Duplicate ÖSD Diplomas
Duplicate Diplomas cost EUR 60.
Right of withdrawal when booking online and registering by telephone
If you book your examination date online, by email or by telephone you are entitled by consumer protection law to withdraw within 14 working days, whereby Saturday is not a working day. The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is signed.
This right of withdrawal does not apply to examinations beginning within these 14 working days as of the booking.
Withdrawing from a booking is possible only in writing either by email or by post. You must send the withdrawal announcement within the 14-day period as mentioned above.
Examination fees that which have already been paid will be reimbursed to you minus any booking or bank charges.
Cancellation by the organiser
Deutsch Studio Salzburg reserves the right to change or cancel examination dates when necessary. Participants will be notified in good time. The organiser cannot be held liable for any claims in connection with this.
If Deutsch Studio Salzburg has to cancel an examination date due to organisational reasons any fees which have already been paid by participants shall be refunded in full.
Bank charges or other costs will not be refunded.
Registering for courses
Registrations are handled on a „first come, first served“ basis.
The deadline for registrations is two weeks prior to the start of the course. Later registration is also possible in the event of places still being available on the courses.
If there are fewer than 4 registrations per course Levels A1 to C1 the organiser reserves the right to cancel courses.
If there are fewer than 3 registrations per writing courses (level B2 and C1) and courses on Level C2 the organiser reserves the right to cancel courses.
Course fee
The course fee is due on registration.
Registrations after the beginning of the course do not result in any reduction of the course fee.
Examination fees for the Austrian Language Diploma ÖSD are not included in course fees.
Withdrawal from the course by the participant

Course materials
Group courses: course materials are not included in the course fees.
Individual training: course materials are included in the course fees.
Training Unit (TU)
The total duration of the course is specified in Training Units (TUs).
One TU lasts 45 minutes.
Scheduling – individual training
The schedule for individual training is fixed in agreement with you. This schedule is binding – you may exceed it only in agreement with Deutsch Studio Salzburg and only by a maximum of four weeks. Any TUs not consumed within this time frame lapse and no refunds shall be given.
Cancelling appointments – individual training
You can cancel agreed appointments up to 24 hours in advance either in writing or by telephone. Any later cancellations are equivalent to the lessons having been held and they shall be charged accordingly.
Data protection
All personal information and data of the participants will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be passed on to third parties.
Deutsch Studio Salzburg is entitled to save and electronically process any personal data disclosed by the client when registering for and participating in an examination and to use it within the scope of the examination and for specific information about the exam. Participants expressly accept such use of their data when registering.
Change of address and personal data
Participants undertake to immediately notify Deutsch Studio Salzburg of any change of address and changes to their personal data.
If participants do not fulfil this obligation, any written documents from Deutsch Studio Salzburg such as diplomas, invoices and reminders are deemed to have been sent if they were sent to the last given address.

Deutsch Studio Salzburg accepts no liability for examnation participants‘ personal belongings, including valuables, or teaching materials.
Deutsch Studio Salzburg cannot be held liable by examination participants for any losses caused by moderate negligence.
